Overview

The Trade, FDI and Innovation for Sustainable Development (TFi4SD) Summit is the annual flagship event of EIIA. The TFi4SD Summit brings together stakeholders from government, industry, academia and the civic sector to debate public policy issues and foster solutions in a collaborative environment.

The 2018 edition in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria examined issues traversing trade, FDI, sustainable tourism, open innovation, maritime innovation, health innovation, sustainable energy systems, innovation in resource economies, financial technologies, artificial intelligence, public-private partnerships and the triple helix of industry–academia-government interactions – and their inter-jurisdictional spillover effects.
